Decorating The Tree: How You Can Make Yours Neighbors Envy

Christmas tree is a delight for the children. They love that. Whenever they think of Christmas, they think of Christmas tree and Santa Clause. The association is too close. Decoration forms an integral part of Christmas celebrations. When Christmas arrives, you want to decorate your home, both inside and outside. Decorating Christmas tree is something really special. It is a tradition.

You can be creative to any extent in order to decorate the tree. You can add lights, ornaments, ribbons etc. Anything that is attractive can form the part of decoration of the tree. You can also decorate the tree with valuable ornaments. These ornaments must be added by the adults and should not be accessible by children. Children should add ribbons and decorative balls on the tree. Every one in the family should participate in decorating Christmas tree. This will lead to togetherness.

You can buy different types of colorful pearls to prepare the ornaments for the tree. Rather than purchasing ready bows, you can purchase ribbons and encourage children to prepare bows from them. You can add as much of creativity you want.

You can add colorful bulbs in decoration of the tree. Even white lights look attractive. You can take suggestions of your friends and family as regards to the same. Blinking lights add to the festivity and make children delighted.

You can decide upon a theme for decorating the Christmas tree. You can prepare a red Christmas tree, which resembles Santa-theme. By adding white lights, you can have a theme of white Christmas tree. Traditional green tree is always a welcome.

Make it Special - Make the tree decorating day a special time. Play Christmas music, put out fresh baked cookies and eggnog for the grownups (non-alcoholic version for the kids of course) and hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows. Gather a group of close family and friends around and make it a real festive affair.

Once you decorate your tree go on a Christmas walk around the neighborhood and take in all the sights and lights around you. Then bring everyone back to your place for a hot Christmas stew or casserole... you'll be creating a family tradition for years to come.
