You must become more cautious during the holiday season, this is because you tend to consume more calories. You will just have to follow some simple tips to avoid this situation. You can remain in shape even in the holidays. Firstly you must get active. You must not pamper yourself just because you are on a break. You must avoid sleeping at odd hours, which you never did when you had your job. You must get active and must indulge in sports activities such as hiking, ice skating etc. If not this you must at least go for a walk. As regards to party, you will have to fetch a lot of control. This is the party season. You will have to avoid high calorie food. Taste every meal at a party. But stop there. You will have to check the alcohol intake, as it has a lot of calories. You must make it s point to have something like soup or salads from home. This will kill the temptation to eat more at the party. Thus you can resist from gallons of calories. You must snack light and at the interval of every 3-5 hours. You must have something really nutritious during snacking time. You must not have long gaps between the meals. This will be helpful.
