Nearly all the females who expect are confused that whether they should really eat for two. But this is a misconception. You have started gaining weight, if you eat for two, things will be ridiculous. You will simply go out of control and it will be very difficult to get back to shape after giving birth to a baby.

An appropriate diet and eating smart is a key to you remaining in shape even after birth. There are certain diet tips, which you must follow.

Daily intake of calories must be added with 300 more. You can ask a dietician to give you a diet chart. This will really be helpful. If you follow the diet you only add 300 calories per day, you will remain healthy throughout.

You must miss no opportunity to eat fruits and vegetables. It has a lot of vitamins and minerals. You must stock up with the fruits like banana, orange, apple, grapes, orange etc. Vegetables like celery, spinach, carrots, cucumber etc are too good. You will be tempted to have cakes and cookies and all the junk food around but maintain caution.

Fiber is essential to combat constipation. You must consume whole grains and raisins. They contain lot of fiber. Ten percent of your daily diet must consist of protein. Some foods that are rich in protein are also good source of iron. So you are benefited.
